Biography

Jane Chifley and Mark Aggar are 490 and together they have produced ‘Cry Hope’, a song about the positive influence of Mary Mackillop in Australian history. Her canonisation is on the 17th of October 2010.

Mark and Jane have sung together off and on for over 15 years. Most recently they sang at the national launch of the WYD cross at Tumbalong Park, Sydney.

Jane Chifley is a singer/songwriter who has sung and performed both in Australia and overseas performing in Munich, Cologne and the USA. She lives in Sydney after having been a teacher in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains for many years.

Mark Aggar is married and a school teacher in Western Sydney originally from Lethbridge Park but currently living in Penrith. He is a trained singer who sings at weddings and has been involved with Catholic youth activities recording a number of times.
